History:

Stella L. Matheos has been a K9 Behavior Specialist and family-dog trainer in Europe since 1996. She has trained over 1000 dogs in protection, conformation and obedience, produced in-person seminars and been a member of 11 rescue organizations.  She relocated with her family and business to Manassas, VA, in 2019.   Stella is the partner of a 5 year old  show champion and elite level detection dog, a Giant Schnauzer named “Kouro” ( CH Firezone’s Above and Beyond for Melastron CGCU, NW3 ) and her daughter owns and trains a handsome young Champion Saluki, in Lure Coursing and conformation.

At Magic Mountain K9 we offer professional canine temperament assessments and rehabilitation programs for dogs and cats in animal shelters and coach volunteers.   

Our specialty is family dog obedience and behavior modification.

Anyone who has loved an animal knows that there is a particular magic to the human-animal bond. It is the reason why so many of us love dogs so deeply and in spite of the inevitable pain of losing one. They bond to us like few species can.  -And we bond with them, just as strongly.   At Magic Mountain K9, this bond is our magic wand! We take advantage of it and strengthen it.   Our results are life-changing, unique and not achievable any other way.
